REP Concert was great!
We had a great turnout and a fantastic time playing at Roots at the Rep. We'd like to thank everyone who came out to support all the acts and support the local music scene. We would also like to thank all the great musicians who joined us for an exciting start to an ongoing music series at the Rep. Keep a lookout for more music nights at the Rep including Folk and Jazz as well as other genres. We may be back for an annual Roots night. Special thanks to Shawn Henderson for having us on his wonderful radio show Stay Tuned, and for being the MC of Roots at the Rep.
We will be returning to the studio this month to start work on our second CD. We have some great new tunes, and we are pretty excited about getting some tracks recorded. So if you don't see us playing out for a little while you'll know why. If you get Wooden Eye withdrawal, just remember summer is coming and you'll see us back out there before you know it.
ROOTS At The REP Concert
Wooden Eye will be playing a concert at the Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth, NH on Sunday April 5th with some fantastic musical guests. The artists joining us will be vocalist extraordinaire Dawn Boyer, guitarist Brett Hartenbach of Daniel Johnston fame, and Dave Gerard of Truffle. We are really excited to be playing with such great talents, and we know it will be a really fun time for everybody. The tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. The Tee Shirts are coming
We've had quite a few people asking when we were going to have tee shirts for sale, and where they could buy them. We wanted to let you know we should have them up on the store page soon along with a few other goodies with the Wooden Eye logo. Of course you'll also be able to buy them at our gigs. Most of the tee shirts will be size L and XL, but if you need other sizes drop us an email and we'll include some in the order. So stay tuned and we'll see you at the shows.

Wooden Eye hits a home run!
The CD release party was a blast with a very enthusiastic turnout. The band put on a great show that started out strong and built to a fever pitch by the end of the evening. You can read the review from the Wire Magazine here. We would like to thank all our fans old and new that came out to celebrate the release of "Don't Ask" with us. If you missed the show don't worry you can still get a copy of the CD from our online store, and there will be lots of chances to see the band in the future. Keep an eye on our gig calendar.
CD Release Party!
After months of work, it's finally ready. The guys in the band are pretty excited to share our effort with all of you. So, we'll be officially releasing our freshmen CD "Don't Ask" on Saturday Night, July 12.
